Canadian Thanksgiving Place-Card Cookies with Edible Toppers

Illustrated Thanksgiving table with autumn-border cookie toppers and a matching printed topper sheet
Original serving concept—not a customer order or product-performance test. Edible Final Touch supplies the printed toppers, not the cookies.

A place-card cookie can welcome each guest and become part of dessert. The easiest plan uses one repeated edible autumn frame, leaving the centre open so the baker can add individual names with icing.

1. Design one flexible frame

Use maple leaves, berries or simple harvest colours around the edge, but keep the middle quiet. One shared border makes the table feel coordinated and avoids creating a different printed file for every guest.

2. Measure the iced area

Measure the flat surface that will actually hold the topper—not the cookie’s widest edge. The custom cupcake and cookie topper page lists pre-cut options from 1 to 3 inches, with round, heart or square choices at selected sizes. Pick a shape that leaves a little visible icing around it.

3. Test one finished cookie

Edible Final Touch prints and pre-cuts the topper; you prepare the cookies and add each name. Because icing recipes and surfaces vary, test one topper on the actual finish and follow the application guidance for the material you selected rather than assuming one universal waiting time.

4. Keep storage rules separate

Unused topper sheets should stay sealed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and should not be refrigerated. Once applied, store the finished cookies according to the cookie and icing recipe—especially when a perishable topping requires refrigeration.
