What Size Should My Edible Image Be?
Not sure what size to order? You’re not alone — choosing the right edible image size is the #1 question we get. Use this guide to pick the perfect fit for your cake or dessert so your design looks clean, centered, and professional.
How to choose the right size (2 quick steps)
- Measure the flat top area of your cake/dessert (not the cake board).
- Decide if you want a border. If you’ll add piping, sprinkles, or a buttercream ring, choose a topper that’s 0.5–1 inch smaller than the cake size.
Best practice: If you’re between two sizes, we recommend going slightly smaller for easier placement and a cleaner finish.
